Complex dropped their list of the 100 Best Hip Hop Beats of All Time — and we've got NOTES. 📝 In this episode of Mornings with Mero, we break down the top 10 beats on Complex's list, from Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" at #1 to Dr. Dre's "Nuthin' But a G Thang" at #10. But the real debate starts when we get to the beats that DIDN'T make the cut. Did they really leave off Three 6 Mafia's "Stay Fly"? The Next Episode? Raekwon's "Incarcerated Scarfaces"? Chief Rocka? Money, Power, Respect?! We go deep on the snubs, the overrated picks, and whether "Shook Ones Part II" really deserves the #2 spot. Plus: Should Chief Keef's "Don't Like" have been ranked higher? Is Roddy Ricch's "The Box" really better than Dr. Dre's "Let Me Ride"? And does "Back That A** Up" belong on a greatest BEATS list, or is it just a great song? 🔔 Subscribe for more Mornings with Mero! SUBSCRIBE: https://hot97
