Aired January 19, 2007, on the History Channel’s Our Generation: Disco, this segment features celebrity photographer Ron discussing the vibrant disco era. Hosted by Steve Gillon, the episode explores how disco emerged from the underground NYC scene as a bold, upbeat response to the trauma of Vietnam, the Watergate scandal, and the 1970s oil crisis. Disco became the pulsing soundtrack of the "Me" generation, blending rebellion, rhythm, and self-expression.
